Keep in mind, game 7 hasn't even occured yet.  But even still, you have to put in the discussion correct?  Top 10?  Top 5?

If it wasn't for that game 3 blowout, I would go as far to say this could be in the discussion for the greatest NBA playoffs series ever, number 1.

If Game 7 turns out to be a blowout in our favor (which is what Jalen Rose is predicting by the way) then I think it can go in the top 10.  If game 7 is close, then top 5.

If this was the ECF or Finals.. it should be considered one of the greatest series of all time. But it being the first round and all, I don't think it will be as memorable.

Definitely the best first round playoff series, though.

It's certainly the closest series I've ever seen.  It's an instant classic, and I can't remember a series with more epic games.

8 overtimes.... and if you remove game 3, This is the total points for both teams on the series

Bulls: 553

Celtics: 552

That's ridiculous. And so many clutch shots I can't even deal with it any more.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

Thing is to make it to an ECF or Finals, you have to win the 1st round. Every round counts.

I hope that doesn't mean we are due to be blown out by Chicago.

Greatest series that wasn't a conference finals or championship series, because the all-time series have to come from those rounds, it's just like a man-law or something ... has to be the best early round battle, no other series ever had more than two games go to overtime. This one has had four, and the lead change and tie numbers TNT spit out are even crazier than the score without Game 3 stat. 106 lead changes and 65 ties in six games ...

Somebody fix me if I'm wrong, but I've read eight overtime periods in two different threads now. Let's not get ahead of ourselves and curse another Celtic blowout for pride here ... I count seven total overtimes, two single period affairs, a double and a triple. Two plus two plus three, I get seven. Not trying to mock anyone, this one has twisted my brain around too ... Just want the right number up here if any Bulls' trolls come creeping and think we're more tired than we really are.

And this seems like the thread for it, but to the young baby Bulls, before the flesh meets on Saturday, you can catch me saying it here: Well played series, from top to bottom, so much better than expectations, so much more upside than the Hawks from last year, and congratulations on a battle thus far. Now get ready for fury. Champs' hearts are not broken by the likes of Chicago this year.

Definitely seven. One in Game 1, two in Game 4, one in Game 5, three in Game 6.

No doubt about it, it's one of the best of all time. Last nights might have been the best I personally have ever seen- that is if we had only won. Still a great, great game and a fantastic series. Game 7's are where heros are made. Let's just hope the Truth is in the air, Jesus still shoots lights out, and Rondo has his average game in the series. We don't lose game 7 at home--No Way. Mark it down, you can give me all the heck you want if we do but I am saying we don't lose it!

Greatest NBA series I've ever seen.  I just hope it ends with the good guys on top.
