What do you guys think of this article. I thought it sounded pretty funny. I usually don't read his stuff with much thought but have read some recent articles kind of bashing the celtics a bit. On the front of yahoosports page it has a picture of rondo hitting miller on the side of the head so i thought id give the article a go. He basically talks about how rondo mauled miller on that play and how disorientated he says that the celtics met him with "mayhem and malice" at the rim with rondo hitting his forearm to the face. Seemed a little over dramatic to me. I guess i would be upset if i was a fan of the opposing team but i think that that foul has some gray area in there.....The next article shows the rules to a flagrant or technical foul.

http://myespn.go.com/blogs/truehoop/0-39-150/Dwight-Howard-Plays--Philadelphia-Seethes.html

"A flagrant foul where unnecessary and/or excessive contact occurs".... Was Rondo's contact excessive or unnecessary?

Well, does this guy work for yahoo sports...bravo for the objective view of the facts! If this was a Chicago press article I could get to understand the biased opinion but this is supposed to be another kind of news piece. Wow...a shame and a waste of time to read this guy, really...

Laughably biased article- reads like a Chicago seventh-graders report on the game.
Trying to make a sympathetic figure out of a thug like Miller would take a truly great writer.

This is the line that pretty much sums up the problems with the article:

Quote
Chicago had the Celtics beat, again, and let them go.

"let them go?"....ummm, no. the Cs scrapped and clawed their way back in that game. with the Bulls continuing to make huge shots every step of the way.

That was a fierce comeback - without RA mind you.

Quote
They’ve sent film to the league office on the Celtics’ physicality, Miller said, but those never go anywhere.

well, I hope they have the 6th foul on RA right along with it....with the laughing Miller walking away from what could have been a crushing blow to the Cs after just starting to get back in that game.

the truth is i probably would have been very upset if i was a CHI fan, but all in all, the ref stuff balanced out.

plus, i'm pretty sure Miller said that the stitches were put in after the game, not prior to the FTs....anybody else watch his postgame? didn't he say the stitches came after the game?

My not surprised
