If a pass is intercepted by a defender making an excellent defensive play, does the player who passed the ball get charged with the turnover? I'm guessing yes.
Which is why I'm shocked that Paul Pierce is listed as having only turned the ball over 6 times in game 4. I'd been guessing it was up around 10, or even more (given double overtime, etc..)
Did anyone else think his turnover number was higher?
My only goal for Pierce in Game 5 is that he has somewhere between zero and 2 turnovers. That would be a captain-like accomplishment. In my mind, turnovers were reason numero uno we lost game 4.
