The more mistakes/heroics he makes, the more I forget he is just a backup....

Wow, can you imagine the luxory of having a player like BBD giving you 15-20mins off the bench when KG comes back?

Is there a reason why he wasn't in the conversation for the 6th man award?  I am not saying win it, but once you get passed the top 3 or 4 candidates....where is BBD ranked?    ::)

Big Baby averaged 7.0 points per game and 4.0 rebounds per game this season.  Stats like that don't get you in the conversation for 6th man, nor should they.

Jason Terry and any number of other players are much more deserving of the award than BBD.  His entire body of work just wasn't anything spectacular, from a league-wide perspective.

If you want to look at a player in a similar circumstance, why would BBD be more deserving than, say, Paul Millsap?

Do you mean for the NBA, or for the Celtics?

There is no way he should have been in the conversation for the NBA, since his best moments have been as a starter, and in general, he just is not as productive as the other guys out there.

If you are talking about for the C's...sure, he should have been, and was in the conversation.

Not until he can finish a layup at the end of a game.
