It truly is. I was surprised in game 1 but I'm truly amazed now, especially after game 2. This team is very young, has zero "team playoff experience" with this current roster and still the Bulls are playing like they are veterans! I mean, Ben Gordon has some playoff experience but he put dagger after dagger Monday and didn't seem to feel any kind of pressure. Same thing for Rose Saturday during the whole game and for Tyrus Thomas in OT, they knocked down shot after shot and shut out the crowd after any Celtics' run by getting quick points.

I know that the pressure shouldn't be on their shoulders because in this series they have nothing to lose and everything to win (the C's are in the opposite situation). But still, I'm truly amazed by their confidence, especially during C's runs or at the end of the games, they play like a group of veterans and you've got to give them credit for that. In game 1 I even had the impression that our team was the "rookie" team and the Bulls were the defending champions... I'm overreacting a bit here but you've got the idea. The Hawks were in the same situation as the Bulls last year but they were blown out everytime in Boston and winning at home.

What do you guys think? The Celtics' defense and lack of hustle in game 1 certainly boosted their confidence but what do you expect now? I'm still expecting some veteran trick by our team in game 3 or 4 in Chi-Town (with an impressive win that gives a lesson to the Bulls) but obviously we must expect the Bulls to be even more confident at home, which is kind of scary to me. Baby Bulls? No way!

They were the Baby Bulls a few years ago. Guys like Gordon, Salmons and Miller have plenty of experience. Perhaps more importantly, most of their players have a winning pedigree - it would be insane to expect guys like Rose or Noah to choke because they're in the NBA playoffs. Anyway, last season the C's were champions with a new group and with 2 starters and a key bench player without any kind of playoff experience whatsoever.

Those kind of intangibles are overrated - why does it matter if the C's won it all last season? In terms of quality on the floor these are very similar teams, so of course the series is going to be close.
