Maybe I have missed the report, but are we going to ever get an update on what exactly is going with Leon's injury.

All I heard was the other night during the pre-game when Marc Spears said "who knows..." referring to both Leon and Scals return and/or status.

We already know that it is a sprained knee.  Now it is just a matter of the knee getting better.  I don't see what good it will do to give a timetable if they aren't confident in it.  Everyone heals differently.

I expect we won't hear anything less vague until they see enough improvement to be able to project when he can start practicing.

Spears gave a pretty detailed report on TA. and we usually get some kind of report. like he still isn't doing anything basketball related...It's immobilized and won't be putting any weight on it at least until the next examination....he's doing light working out...

I mean, we are getting nothing at this point. Is he on crutches? Can he do bike work? Give me somthing....

something more than "who knows."

do we know if he is even walking around on it? he must be coming in to the facilities.....someone must be able to see him moving around

Why am I getting a feeling we're going into the playoffs without Powe? and KG I doubt will be at 100% by playoffs. Mikki and Davis can't hold the PF spot in the post season. We'll get killed by Cleveland, LA, and Orlando.
True Celtic = Leon Powe

Bring back the show!!!!

Thats what I'm dredding the most- the thought that Moore may be forced into the playoff rotation.  Wow.

Don't worry too much about it.  If KG is back, then they will go with a 3 man rotation, and Mikki will just see spot minutes, and play when there is foul trouble.  If KG is not back and healthy...well, I wouldn't waste too much energy anyways, since the team isn't a contender anymore.

The optomist in me believes that even without KG the Celtics can give any other team in the NBA a run for their money as long as everyone else is healthy.  I would concede nothing without KG playing.

The only silver lining is that we'll only get killed by EITHER Cleveland OR the Fakers.  No way we get killed by all three. ;)  I actually think we'd still beat Orlando.

Well, if you can be optimistic about that, then you should have no problem about being optimistic that Garnett and Powe will be back.

From celtics twitter :

Quote
Wearing a knee brace, Leon Powe tells reporters he's also targeting a return just before the playoffs start.

Apparently, he plans to come back with 3 games left in the regular season, as KG plans to.
