I haven't really seen them play much this year.  They have pretty much flown under the radar with all the Eastern hubbub about the top 3 all year.  It seems to me they've had a very solid season, and might be a royal pain in the neck to play in a 7 game series (again - though it will likely be the Cavs not the C's who have that honor this season).

Does anyone give them a shot at making some noise in the post season?
Yup

I think they would win a series against the heat if they had homecourt. A Joe Johnson D-wade matchup would be fun to watch I think Josh smith would be the difference maker no one on Miami can match up

but no way they get past the Cavs, the matchups aren't that bad but Cleveland plays so well at home theres no way the hawks beat them there.

I have kept up on the Hawks most of the season, and i feel they have matured a little from last season. When they are playing on all cylinders, they probably can beat any team in the league, including the cavs/celts/lakers.In a 7ga.series it depends on homecourt still with them.At home they are tough but on the road its been up/down.They played the cavs close at home but when they went to cleveland, they look like a totally different team.I guess its a little like last season only they are a little older.S.Murray gives them a lift off the bench and Williams when healthy has developed more since last season, with a decent outside shot, and can hit the 3 with some regularity.I say they are better overall and scary.

I see them a little better than Philly probably could take Orlando out.
