The kid is nasty, I can't wait until he has the offseason when he decides to bulk up, comes back with 15 lbs of muscle and starts bodying people on D.

I mean KD is averaging LeBron like numbers as far as his progression goes.  Once he does bulk up and gets a nice fadaway he'll be impossible to guard.

Yeah KD actually plays more defense than Lebron did in 2004-2005 so KD is right on time. However if he'll only be a Clyde Drexler to Lebron's Jordan if he can't get that strength too keep small forwards out of the lane. We all saw how Ariza and company kept Lebron to 5-20 shooting twice this year. I don't see Kevin shooting 5-20 anytime soon!

In my heart of hearts I hope Durant breaks all of Kobe's scoring records.

  What scoring records?

lol Kobe only has 2 scoring records believe it or not. I think its 4 consecutive games of 50 points and 8 consecutive games of 40 points. But the diff b/w Kobe's scoring records and MJ's scoring records is that Kobe did it against the Raptors, Knicks, and Clippers while MJ did it to the Celtics, 90s Knicks, and the Suns in May.

He's shooting 48-86-44 this season and its only going up. He scored a career high of 47 last night on 16-27 shooting. He's a more efficient scorer than Kobe ever was or ever will be. Not even Larry Bird could shoot 44% on 3s. I've never seen a 20 year old NBA player in the last 30 years who could score so easily. Kevin Durant going to break all Of Kobe's scoring streaks you like consecutive 50 point games 40 point games and all that. Dwight Howard is also gonna be atop 5 center of all time not even Hakkem could put up a 45-20-8. The NBA is more talented and competitive than ever before!

This is the most bizarre post I have ever seen on celticsblog, considering just a day or two ago you posted a topic RE: why do people think lebron could end up being the best ever? And you argue, lebron will not be able to improve his J or find post up moves after 6 yeas in league even though he is 24?

Now you are comfortable saying someone can be the greatest perimeter scorer of all time or that D. Howard with no post game to speak of and no playoff wins will break into the Russell, Chamberlin, Kareem, Hakeem, Shaq group of all time greats.

What gives?
