I just dont see it from Davis. And I didn't see it last night. I hope he has a great career but I cringe every time he takes that jumper. Drive baby!  Drive!

Do you not know the coaching staff wants him taking that shot? hes doing what hes being told

Yes, the coachin staff wants him to take the shot. But, he does not have to take it every time he gets the ball and he should not take it when a 7-foot llama is charging at him.

whether glen davis played well or not is really irrelevant.

this game was one more example - but a glaring one this time - of how much danny has screwed this team by letting james posey get away. the celts needed posey's offense and savvy badly last night.

i just cannot see the reasoning in letting your key 6th man get away because you were unwilling to include one extra year on the guy's contract. this team is all about their opportunities inside a short window to hang banners.

surely ainge does not think this group with tony allen, glen davis or brian scalabrine having to provide premium minutes off the bench can win another title. think for a minute....... these same three guys were not a factor in the playoffs last year because the celtics didn't need them to be. we had better players in front of them ....... so now the celtics are relying on what are truly 10th, 11th & 12th men on a championship contender to provide contributions of which they are incapable.

Posey was key for us last year, but have you seen him play this year? By next year hell be done if he's not already. Ainge should not have overpaid for Posey. We need size. We miss PJ Brown more than Posey.

i have only seen Posey against the Celtics, though i did check his game averages, which looked good ........... 9 pts & 4 rbs per.

i'd be interested to hear what you have seen of Posey to create that opinion. i almost hope you are right because that fact might relieve some of the torment with which i am living this season watching Tony Allen put his head down and bulldoze his way to the basket time and again.
