i'm really happy to see that he's starting to drive to the land and smash it home when given the opportunity, to increase your FG% is to go for dunks and he has the ups to do so. I also think that it really pumps up the big three when they see rondo drave the lane and slam it home.

I love it when he does that. I remember after the one in Toronto Paul and Ray were acting like proud parents
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

He tried. He brought the ball up with one
hand but was fouled. Would have made the Top
Ten, IMO.

I could care less if he ever dunks. For me the more important thing is getting the 2 points. If he can lay it in off the window with less effort and better percentage, then do that.

I don't think I ever remember seeing a John Havilcek dunk. Ever. Guy scored 26000+ points. Rondo might get a lot more goal tending calls making sure that the ball goes of the backboard than he might made free throws from getting fouled and missing a dunk because of contact that he could have avoided.

That's just me though. I don't have a need to see Rondo go up, dunk, get hit and land bad because he jumped himself into a bad positioned trying to dunk when less flash and less height might have caused him less dangerous landings.

Yeah. I agree that seeing Rondo dunk pumps up the big 3 and the whole team. As for JH, that was a different era. In these generations, a dunk can get the whole stadium erupting. BUT, to the point of another blogger is that he needs to get the 2 points regardless, and seeing him miss layups just bugs the crap out of me. If he could work even harder on his off-balance layups and get that skill that players like Ginobli, Parker, and Wade, and Antione(...Jamison that is) then he wouldn't have to worry so much of earning his 2 points with his awful free throw shooting.
And for the record though, his midrange game was looking awesome today against Dallas, and he owned Kidd on both sides of the ball. As did KG against Dirk, putting points on him and shutting him down offensively. Great game
Can't stop, Rondo!
