It looks like no one linked to this and I'm surprised:

Basically, Hollinger is saying that the bench has regressed and is not pulling it's weight, but that there is also some regression to the mean. Essentially, he touches on one thing I mentioned a while ago: being good in close games means you are lucky, not good or "clutch." Winning by large margins means you are good. In the first part of the season, the C's were very lucky in close games. Lately, including tonight, they haven't been so lucky. Law of averages is evening out in that regard, causing the C's record to fall back to where it "should" be. Think of the C's as still a very good team with some flaws whose record has evened out thanks to recent bad luck canceling out earlier good fortune.

He's a hater! He's wrong! What do you mean by «being good in close games means you are lucky, not good or "clutch"»? If that was true, our 27-2 record would be mightily inflated and we're due to lose an awful lot of closes games in the near future. What are you going to say next, that we're losing 6 of the next 8? AHHAAHAHHA Hollinger, get a clue!

I read this earlier today. Nothing mentioned by Hollinger that hasn't already been discussed round here.

Thought it interesting that Davis had such a strong game tonight. Wonder if he reads Hollinger; this would have fired him up.
