Ok, now ellis i understand, while i found it funny as heck and not a big deal, you can't have a guy get away with throwing things into the stands even if his target finds it funny. (I guess.)

But come on now, 10k for a freaking 2 second snow angel? honestly?

and you wonder why players and fans alike grip about you becoming a league of vanilla robots?

side note: good fine on xmas eve to, couldn't wait till friday?

Yeh, you'd think the 15 yard penalty sufficed there

The NFL needs to lighten up on the celebration penalties as much as the NBA needs to lighten up on the ticky tacky fouls they call all the time... let them play!

Can you imagine if a player clothslined someone the way Rambis was closthlined?  They would be handing out 10 game suspensions all day.

  • I would like to apologize now for what I do later.
That has got to be the most expensive snow angel ever.... where is the logic behind fining someone for a snow angel?  Did it really ruin the games integrity?  Stewpud NFL.

So a snow angel is as damaging as hurling a 50 pound snow boulder at the crowd...interesting.
God bless and good night!

Did Watson also get fined for his celebration?  I completely understand that if they are taking a stance that any illegal celebration needs to be fined, and they don't want to be in the business of determining which are worse than other, but I don't know if they have really been consistent about it.
