Interesting article, especially the bit about the bitterness over the CBA. I guess Marbury was upset he didn't couldn't go straight to the NBA as a guard at that time, causing him to get stuck with a more restricted CBA.

I could've written that, and probably found better quotes archived than the ones used. Barely went into their basketball careers, different respective choices, didn't harp on Garnett's loyalty, nothin.

I liked it. There are already so many articles on KG's loyalty. This is the first I've read about the issue of the CBA and Marbury's lesser contract due to his one year in college, though they both finished high school at the same time.

KG is such a known commodity, I would rather hear about the Marbury trainwreck.

I found the stuff about bringing in Porter (and Mitchell) a bit overdone. The players are who they are. The vets might help them adjust to the NBA quicker, but they aren't going to fundamentally change characters.
