This is an observation, not a complaint: with the exception of the 2nd quarter of the Bulls game, Marquis Daniels has been largely unused as a offensive option off the bench.  Mostly I've seen a lot of Sheed picking and popping with House and Ray, while Marquis lurks in the corner.  Sheed's presence behind the arc has itself opened up many looks for Ray and House, but I'm wondering when Doc's going to get the ball into Marquis' hands and get some action in the painted area.

Take what the offense give you.
Take the best show available.

That's what there doing, its not like Doc is saying

"alright Marquis tell everyone to get out of the way and then you just attack with no mercy, then next time kick it to House"

He's just doing what feels right at the time.

He's looked for his opportunities, but with Sheed, Eddie, and Shelden scoring well off the bench, we don't really need him to look for his points.  And he seems like the kind of guy to be ok with that.  I like what we've gotten from him so far.

Agreed, I'd like to see Marquis get more minutes and more PT.  The more PT he and other off-the-bench guys get now, the better the Cs will be in the long run.

Being a Point-Guard takes away his scoring. Ask Rondo? point-guards don't score much in our system. Can't complain much being 4-0.

His offense hasn't really been needed yet, maybe tonight.. however it seemed he did try and look to get involved but the Hornets have some pretty good interior defence.

My surprise is that he hasn't touched the ball all that much, not so much that he hasn't scored a lot.  House, Ray or Paul have handled the vast majority of ball-handling with the bench unit.  I expected Daniels to be much more involved.  Perhaps he's still getting acclimated to the offense and Doc is letting him ease in.  And as you say, there's not much to complain about with the perfect record.
