I think we will have a really exciting second unit this season. Last year our team was not that atheletic and our second unit had a very hard time of putting numbers on the board but I think this year will be drastically different. I can't wait to watch Miles, TA, and Powe throwing down monsterous dunks on the fast break and watching Eddie House jacking up three's when the defense begins to sag.

I'll even go on the record to predict that our second unit will put more points on the board quicker than our first unit will of course I think they will allow more too)!

Don't forget about Giddens and Walker.  While I don't think they will get much burn I would say they are the 2 best dunkers on our team (assuming of course that DMiles can't dunk the way he used too).
When I'm in the gym...I like to grunt when  I get my swell on... That way everyone can see how jacked and tan I am.

I'm sure Walker and Giddens will each get a couple highlight dunks but they probably will be in garbage time.

I also purposely left out Scal but we all know he will light it up on both ends of the floor! lol!

Yes sir! Our male cheerleader will be running up and down both ends of the floor cheering on the players getting his minutes!

Also, I agree with us having an awesome 2nd unit. Besides Boston, the only teams I see having a 2nd unit to watch would be Detroit with Stuckey/Maxiell, New York with David Lee/Nate Robinson, and ...maybe Jersey with Dooling/Jarvis Hayes and Stromile Swift. Either way, at all 5 positions we have a backup to watch this year. PG combo of Cassell/House, Tony Allen/Giddens at SG, DMiles/Bill Walker at SF, PF with Powe/BBD, and C with Pato now.
Can't stop, Rondo!

How about this for a "Shock Troups" unit of:

C  Powe
PF Miles
SF Walker
SG Giddens
PG TA/Rondo

for an ultra-athletic, high energy, running, high flying, pressing, smothering unit to be used in special circumstances. Great entertainment, but I'm not sure how many points we'd score. Still, it would be fun to watch....at least during the exhibition season.

I could actually see that unit being used to wreak havoc with older, slower teams once we get up 10-12 points and the starters need a few minutes out of the game.

Think about it, they'd have to be SO careful not to turn it over that they might do just that. A team that lacked speed and athletisim would be hard pressed to not give up a fast break bucket to that crew.

they could be like a lesser used special teams unit, like punt block heh  ;D

TP for an intersting idea
