True. However, Posey isn't playing a position where he's supposed to be bringing the ball up the court and creating for others, but is unable to do that. Furthermore, while I'll concede that Posey's man to man defense is overrated, his team defense isn't. And it's far superior to House's.
You're right that House and Posey can still be valuable in spreading the floor even when they're cold; however, that's House's only value, whereas Posey has others.
