I've been a big Clifford Ray fan, since he was a player, actually.  He's the best position coach in the NBA, and the second best big man coach ever.  (If you don't know that the best was Pete Newell, you're probably under six feet tall).

One thing Ainge has done is build a great support staff.  I saw Walter Norton before a playoff game, and made a point to congratulate him and thank him for the great work he has put in here, especially with Perk.    He was stunned that I even knew who he was, politely thanked me, and made a point to stop by me when heading back to the court to again thank me again for the kind words. 

Luckily, Ainge was able to bring in top shelf players for the top shelf staff to work with, and the results were great.
