C's interested in Lue, Dooling, Williams, Duhon (and House)

Jason Williams has played for a lot of poor teams. Makes me wonder if he'd contemplate us to play for a winner.

Or we haven't made an offer, but Lue is using us as leverage to get a deal with Phoenix or Dallas. You always get more if you have more suitors.

I think Danny has a certain amount of money to spend on a backup pg, a wing, and a big man, and whoever is willing to take a discounted salary will fill each slot.

From that list I'd rather have house & pruitt backing up Rondo (who will improve again).  I might be wrong but I think pruitt is going to make an impact in a few years, help next year though, kids got a stroke.

I have seen Jason Williams play like an all-star and also seem him play totally brain dead. I have seen Lue play pretty well and have seen him totally suck. That makes them scary for a championship team unless Danny/Doc understand why they vary so tremendously on a game to game basis. With House you know what you are going to get. His shot may be off but the rest of his game is pretty consistent from game to game (i.e. Not terrific but with a lot of energy).
I have always wondered if Jason Williams could ever get his act together. But I wouldn't want to screw up what the Celtics already have.
By the way, Duhon has never impressed me. I don't know exactly what he would bring to the party. Lue can be good defensively against small guards and Jason Williams can create offense. I don't know what Duhon is supposed to bring.

What I haven't seen is Jason Williams play on a good team with talent around him where he is a secondary piece.

Jason Williams proved he could control him self in the presence of veterans in Miami, and win a championship.  I would be all for bringing him on board.  he would be a great mentor for Rondo since Jason (in his prime) was a quick, pass first PG, much like Rondo now.

Article i was reading said a multi-year deal starting at $3.5M --- i think thats a little too high, but i think that Dooling would be a strong addition to this team.  he's always hurt the C's when we play in ORL.

I'd wouldn't be surprised if he returned to Miami though... though i guess Mario Chalmers' play in the SL may make them roll the dice with him and <ahem> Marcus Banks.
