Let's keep PJ Brown in the Punxutawney Phil role.
If he wants to retire, Zo would be a great choice, but I don't see a guy who is so revered in South Florida playing out the string anywhere else. He tried that once in New Jersey and it was a disaster. He either plays another year for the Heat or retires.
Kurt Thomas would be a great addition to this team. Although not a seven footer, he has the bulk and savvy to play bigs, and his mid-range jumper is money. Perkins hopefully will be able to stretch out his minutes to 32 a game next year, now that the refs have some respect for his game.
Stromile Swift is out there, and although his career has been a train wreck, with the right coaching and attitude (the KG effect), he could be the kind of athletic big the team doesn't have besides the aging Garnett. Diop would be a great add defensively, but I think he will be a bit expensive to sign if the Cs have to throw the MLE to Posey.
