Lets remind ourselves...

It basically took a miracle to 1)avoid being 2-2 and 2)avoid some ugly spanking on National TV courtesy of the L.A. Fakers.  So lets keep it in mind, lets not get over confident, lets stay focused and lets kick some butt.

It's time to close this out before our injuries do us.

The Lakers have played probably three quarters, total, this series where they were better than the Celtics.  The only game they won was one where both KG and Pierce were slumping horribly.

While I appreciate that the series is not over yet, I'm fairly confident.  The fluke wasn't the come back, but instead was falling behind 24 in the first place.  We're a significantly better team than the Lakers, at least in terms of how the two teams match up.

We also played poorly in game 3 and nearly won. I'm not worried. We're the better team and this is a good matchup for us.

Sheesh, I haven't seen this much optimism in a long time. I haven't posted in forever, but I've been reading the front page and feeling the vibes. I agree with the general sentiment: the C's will win the series. However, I would not be surprised if the Lakers did not go down without a fight. The C's haven't really trounced them in any game yet and the Lakers haven't shown up for a full four quarters this series.

Remember, this is the same team that came out of the strong West as the top dog. And, of course, they happen to have a guy named Kobe. He's alright.

Don't interpret this as pro-Lakers in any way. I despise the team and its players (Sasha's tantrum was the highlight of my week). Nevertheless, I'm just trying to maintain an unbiased perspective while everyone else is ready to raise up banner 17.

My prediction: C's in 6.
Put me on the Rondo bandwagon.

i think if we're focused tonight we win simple as that because, simply put, we're a far superior team.

and i've given a tp to roy for the following perfectly put line:

The fluke wasn't the come back, but instead was falling behind 24 in the first place.

Quick start gets the job done for the C's today. If not, back to Beantown where we're 13-1.
