It struck me as odd that Phil would go out and call KG "gassed" in the 4th. He's gotta know that that is an antagonizing thing to say (and props to Doc for his comeback). And then you got Kobe jawing with Pierce at the end of the game, and pierce was lookin kind of annoyed. Anyone think the Zen master is trying to get in the Celt's heads a little bit?

I think the Lakers are extremely frustrated.  The game went almost to script for them and they still barely won.

I have said that from Day 1. Phil and Kobe know that the Celtics have the better squad. They are both trying to get under the skin of the Celtics to take them off their game. If KG was gased what was Pau and Odom?

Trash talking is fine with me, but Paul has to stay out of those mind games. Let your game do the talking.

On a side note, did anyone catch the poll on ESPN.com that states Kobe is the MVP of the series so far. Are you kidding me?

My word of advice to the C's. Stay focused. As Bill Belichick says all the time "Do your job!" If the Celts follow this philosophy they will come out on top on Thursday night.
