their triangle offense cause they can't score on the C's defense.

Kobe with the pick 'n roll and shooters jacking up 3's.

Jim O'Brien offense reborn!

7-9 from downtown in the 4th alone....scary shooting with deadly accuracy.

C's need to check the footage of this game very carefully....too many alley-oops and too many open 3 point shots for good shooters.

Need to clean that crap up quick.

Give the Lakers credit for not quiting and playing a helluva 4th quarter.

The fourth quarter was just as much about us playing like crap as it was about the Lakers playing well.  They hit some open jumpers, but we allowed their shooters to get open.

Terrible effort in the fourth, as admitted by Paul and KG.  That being said, it's 2-0, and we're well on our way.

Absolutely.

C's played tentative and too patient on offense and lost guys on defense....way too much switching and not enough hard-nosed stick to your man defense.

But the Lakers must be feeling pretty good that they didn't get walloped by 20+ points as they should have.

  • You know my methods, Watson.
ideally, the lakers begin to believe that this is the way to beat the celtics and go back to los angeles and start chucking them from long range.  it will never work.

watching kobe yell at his teammates at the end of the game for not getting him the ball is priceless.

there will be no momentum carry-over from this game...as hobbs alluded to, this was more about the celtics cashing it in than it was about the lakers playing well.

...obviously, somebody fixed the rims in the 4th quarter.  ::)

The Lakers got a lot of great looks at 3s in the fourth that I don't think they get in a close game - they were specifically looking for 3s and I think the C's will do a better job of defending it if the Lakers decide to play that way. My guess is game 3 will be a tough one to win. Look for Kobe to get to the line and the Lakers D to be better. That said, I still feel like the C's haven't put together a full game yet. They're up 2-0 and haven't played at their best yet. I think Ray Allen might go off and PP could hit 40 in LA.
Now, on to 18...

Exactly Celtics were not exactly playing their best when the Laker came back it was more of a lack of focus. Too bad for the Lakers but I don't see alot of that happening in the future after this game.
