1965-1966 Celtics vs 2007-2008 Celtics

Interesting styles of players they are not exactly alike but have many similarties 42 years later. By the way the Celtics beat the Lakers 4 games to 3 at the Garden 95 to 93 for the 8th championship in a row with Red.

Comparing hall of famers to the Celtics current bench is a bit of a stretch.

The comparisons between the starting unit is fairly interesting. At least in style of play rather than overall ability. Some good ones there.

I watched/listened to that series with Johnny Most in 1966. You bring a good point on the hall of fame players side we won't know for years but KG, Allen and Pierce could be Hall of Famers. The Celtic 1966 team in the Hall of Fame as players are Havlicek, Russell, Sam & KC Jones so that would be 4 vs a possible 3 Hall of Famers if it happens.
