There is a huge factor that will come into play during this series that is in large contrast to LA-SA series.  In that series, Kobe could pick his spots and essentially conserve energy by guarding Bowen part of the time.  THAT will not happen in this series.  He will either by run around by Ray Allen or be in a physical battle against PP.  Even if he wants to guard Rondo, he will still be taxed.  No rest for the weary in this series and that will have a big impact on the outcome of these games.  It is subtle, and maybe no one mentions it, but it will be a factor.

You're right. The C's will make Kobe work hard. All year they've found a way to make the other teams best shooter look bad. I predict that Kobe will average the quietest 25ppg in finals history shooting about 41%

The Celtic's under Doc play team D as opposed to individual D which is why they are so good at stopping other teams best players.

Much less of a factor than you think considering there are 3 days between games 1 and 2 & games 4 and 5. With that being said I expect Kobe to be going all out/full speed for games 1 & 4 especially.

Of course, he'll still be worked to exaustion by the C's in the Finals
