Wow, that's a very kind thread to ask about a new member.  Gracias!
But I doubt anyone wants to hear about a Laker troll.
Let me just say I hope to have some intelligent conversation in here.
If anyone wants to hate on a troll or the Lakers go ahead.  I always see hate as respect.

I joined because I am really excited to be matched up with Boston in the Finals.  I am eager to read some threads and find out what you homers believe are the strengths/weaknesses of the matchup and what keys to victory you're looking for.

My hope is that we can get some vengeance for the Auerbach years, that was just painful.  It was like little brother never being able to get over on big brother.  I hate (read: respect) Boston!!

I'd also like to hear any city commentary.  I don't know Boston at all and would like to hear about the local flavor... like is Harvard Square area a main hangout, what goes on in the different districts, etc... maybe in a 'general discussion' board on here.

I'm just so excited.  Thursday is sooooo long away.

I agree with some other posters.. Jazz fans are the WORST holy Jebus are they inbred.  I have enjoyed reading a lot of classy Boston fan posts so far.  I have a few Boston friends out her relocated so I expect more cool ppl in here.

Like I always say, may the better team win and keep the officials out of this.

That's a well thought out post.  It's great to have you here, and we always welcome intelligent debate, even if I hope you leave our blog crushed and disappointed.

The Natural is a great movie.

It sort of gets a little muddled with the woman and the getting shot perhaps.  But it finishes like a champ, that movie.

Don't tell me you don't get a little tear at the end w/ Redford playing catch with his son in the wheatfield during 'magic hour'!
