Self Imposed Sports Media Ban

I was wondering if anybody else refuses to read or watch sports related material following your teams loss for a period of time.  This has become very commonplace for me during these playoffs.  Not sure if this is thread worthy but i would like to hear if anybody else has done this and if so to what lengths have you gone.
