No one advocating for KG?

Well KG has not shown himself as a MVP when it matters the most.. Play-offs...

As a Hornets fan, here's my official response to Kobe Bryant's winning of the 2007-2008 MVP Award:

Congrats, Kobe.  You've had a great career.  It would be a darn shame if you retired without one of these.

But here's how I really feel:  Perhaps if CP3 had raped someone, forced the Bees to send David West to the Eastern Conference and demanded a trade you'd have it in the bag.

the criteria and voting reflects the regular season only, not the playoffs.

If he had won there would be too many comparisons th Dirk last year.  I see it as a lifetime achievement award for Kobe.  He deserved it.  Kg has gotten his, and Paul will get his, and then some.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

So its a lifetime achievement award now? When did the NBA MVP become the Oscars?
