I really like this Spurs team. Their guards and wings are great. Although watching them really makes me feel like trading JB for Fox is a bad choice unless there is a lot more with Fox. And I do not think the Spurs would part with that.

Fox is looking pretty good to me. Best player on the Spurs with Wemby out.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

JJ Reddick still thinks the Lakers will beat the Thunder in 7.

I'll give em for the morale... they may have Marcus Smart but they don't have Tatum/Brown/White/Horford

I don't think the league will, but I do wonder if that could even cost Wemby Game 5. That was bad

Definitely not, but probably a fine coming. Reminds me of the Embiid elbow to the head a few playoffs back that they didn't call a flagrant two in the moment and then retroactively upgraded it.

Wemby has been low-key dirty at times. Remember the Tatum shove after the made basket on him?
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Man Indy got screwed in the lottery. Their gamble didn?t pay off, but what a deal for LAC - getting a top 5 pick for Zubac!

And I remember someone saying, Indy did it right tanking this season and we should?ve done the same

You?d rather have a first round playoff exit over Zubac?  ???

I do not understand this. The point is that tanking did not benefit IND in any way. If they had a first round loss, they would still have Zubac and the pick. None of this has anything to do with the BOS season.

What did you want BOS to do, trade Brown for draft picks and lose as many games as possible?

If the Clippers were not going to get a good pick, they probably don?t make the deal. There?s a reason it was for this years pick and not next. This was obviously best case scenario for the Clippers, but they knew it would be a solid pick considering how bad Indy was when the trade was made.

Brad should have pulled a Danny Ainge. Get creative with it for one year.
I mean except for the fact that Indiana had a 52% chance to stay in the top 4 and keep the pick, pushing it out until 2031.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

Usually when a player gets ejected in game the NBA calls that good enough. If he had gotten a flagrant one and stayed in the game I could see the NBA reviewing it and suspending him for game 5 on the basis that the punishment was not enough, but a guy getting ejected usually satisfies the league.

Is the Knicks sweeping a playoff series another thing we can blame on Zohran Mamdani?    :P

You are making my point.  Tank all year for a 50-50 chance you get something that might be good. Even if the lottery went their way, still no guarantee they do not draft the next Fultz.  But the lottery did not go their way.

I'm really sorry to all our fans. I own taking this risk. Surprised it came up 5th after this year.  I thought we were due some luck. But please remember - this team deserved a starting center to compete with the best teams next year. We have always been resilient.

the 5th pick in this draft has a real chance to be an elite player.  The Pacers and Clippers both took a risk with the trade. It paid off for the Clippers big time.

Cavs/Pistons series is getting good.

When the Cavaliers frontcourt is producing and having an impact alongside Mitchell, the Cavs are dangerous. That's the version I thought they could reach and why I thought they'd reach the ECF, especially if Harden could at least function as a better version of Garland and the #2. He was bad the first two games this series, much better the last two games.
