Harden 3-13, 10 points and a -13. After a bad Game 1

Not exactly proving the doubters wrong lol

How about Mobley playing 36mins and giving the Cavs 9pts/4ast/1reb. How do you only get 1 rebound!  :-X

He is soft. I would not want him on the Celtics.

He's kind of entering that Bam/Sengun territory to me where, yes they are all all-star caliber players and productive pieces on a championship team. But they probably can't be an alpha or even a true #2 for a title threat and their games stagnate after a while. I mean how many years have we said for Bam in particular that he can elevate his game even further. He feels like the same guy now as in 2022.

Sengun and Mobley are only 23 and 24, yes, so I guess they have a chance.

The Cavaliers main issue come postseason is, their frontcourt isn't consistent. Allen usually disappears and Mobley is not consistently great. Even the Pacers series last year, Myles Turner of all people looked elite and for a time the best big in that series in all but one game.

Lakers hanging tough again.  How much different is this series if they had Luka?

Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

I'm seeing the Thunder  players lining up at the 3pt line ready to shoot and they find their centers open close to the basket for an easy dunk. Why can't the Cs do this? Tunnel vision?

SGA really hasn't been "the usual" great the first two games but OKC is just chugging along.

It's also kind of funny seeing the other side of it, OKC is getting a lot of calls and the Lakers/Lebron aren't which usually isn't the case. LA fans crying online. The OKC whistle is insane but "pot meet kettle" there

Yeah, SGA isn?t getting the calls that he is used to. They are calling fouls on him too.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I don't feel bad for LAL and their fans. That's what happened to us in Game 7 2010.

Oh 1000%. F them

Also, SGA hasn't even played that well this series yet. LAL has actually played solid defense on him, but SGA is absolutely due to go off. And frankly, if Doncic can't come back next game, he might as well just sit out the season. LAL is gonna go down 3-0 without him. They are done.

Yup. Please don't give LAL any signs of life. Must-win game for OKC. Win that and suck the life out of them for Game 4

Man that's hilarious, the Lakers huddled up with the three refs on court after losing Game 2 having a discussion

"We will pay you guys big money if you help us win game three and four" I bet  ;D

OMG Reaves led a Lakers group meeting with the refs after the game LOL. Reddick is also crying hard at the podium about the officiating. The Reaves part on the court though is hilarious

Today was James Harden?s 182nd career playoff game.

It was the 36th time he?s had 3 or fewer made field goals. Nearly 20% of his career playoff games.

It was the 46th time that he?s had as many or more turnovers than made field goals. More than 25% of his career playoff game

My goodness ... those are some horrific stats for such a talented player.

----------------

They have some other Harden trivia on the TV during games saying he is closing in on Stockton and Malone for the most playoff games of all time without a Championship.

And another where they said Harden has made the playoffs in each of his first 17 seasons which is impressive. Only behind with Stockton & Malone. Tied with somebody else. Harden was lucky getting drafted to OKC and them making the playoffs his 1st year which Harden had little to do with. Then he joined the Rockets who were a lottery team and he led them to the playoffs. Those are the only times I can think of where his team was a doubt to make the playoffs.

--------------

One thing that was bugging me during Gm 1 of that Pistons Cavs series was the commentators continually talking about Harden. Saying he needed to lead them. Saying he was the league MVP. Harden isn't the Cavs star. D Mitchell is. Harden is the 2nd option. They were talking like Harden was still in his peak. Awful commentators. Making out like the Cavs were his team and that D Mitchell was his 2nd option.

Do they not realize how old Harden is? He is 36 years of age. He is in his 17th season. He hasn't been able to be "the man" for his team for several years now. Not in CLE, not in LAC, not in Philly.

Saw something where the Cavs starting lineup is only $27M cheaper than Detroit's entire roster.
