Now that our beloved Celtics season is (unfortunately) finally over, rumor season begins.

As Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints reported, "several teams are expected to contact the Nuggets as early as before the 2026 NBA Draft with immediate interest in Gordon. Teams like the Los Angeles Lakers, Phoenix Suns, and Boston Celtics are among the many win-now teams Gordon would obviously fit in with as realistic trade suitors."

Gordon will add more versatility, defense, and playoff experience for this group. Let's get the ball rolling.

Some wondering if DEN should move on from A Gordon because his injuries these past 2 seasons have the main reason for DEN going home early.

I think they should keep him. As long as they have Jokic, Murray and A Gordon together they can field a title contender.

Trade Idea: D White for A Gordon

Celtics

G: Pritchard, (free agent)
F: Jaylen, Baylor
F: Tatum, J Walsh
F: A Gordon, Hugo
C: Queta, (Vucevic or free agent)

Only 1 true guard on the roster. 3 wonderful combo forwards alongside a defensive center. That would be a monster of a defensive unit. The 1 guard 3 wings 1 big combination suits our young wings off the bench also.

Nuggets

G: J Murray, Bruce Brown Jr
G: D White, Tim Hardaway Jr
F: Cam Johnson, C Braun
F: P Watson, Spencer Jones
C: Jokic, Valanciunas

I don't know about Denver. I love D White on their team but I love A Gordon more. Their other wings / forwards are too small. They need A Gordon's size, interior defense & rebounding to help Jokic more than they need another versatile combo guard.

Maybe Denver could go after John Collins or someone like that. Not the defender DEN need alongside Jokic but J Collins would give them some legit size at least next to Joker.

Are we a win now team?   Or do people think that we will try to avoid the repeater tax this year, so we really have some resources?    I think the latter may be true.

I think the Sixers series hurt White's trade value.    I am sure other GMs saw it as well and his shooting slump was all over the internet.  I do not think Denver pulls the trigger, though I bet White would love to play for Denver.
