Midway through the Charlotte vs Orlando game and Kalkbrenner is 4/4 which brings his season FG% to 92% (23/25).

Now 25/27 on the season after being 6/6 so ar this game.

I am just looking at that box score from the Lakers win against Minnesota yesterday. LAL's starting lineup is crazy. It is Austin Reaves, 3 PFs, and Ayton. The 3 PFs were Hachimura, Vanderbilt, Jake LaRavia.

They had no guards. M Smart was out. G Vincent was out. And of course Luka & LeBron were already out. No ball-handlers other than A Reaves. They had 5min off the bench from Bronny. And 10min off the bench from Nick Smith Jr. A Reaves was not only the primary ball-handler but the only ball-handler on the floor for the majority of that game.

28pts 16ast + game winner for A Reaves

The Pelicans starting the season 0-4 is compounded by the fact they recklessly traded their 2026 1st round pick, (with no protections) to Atlanta.

Even at the time of the trade people were shocked at that level of incompetence.

Yeah that's just awful

They might be better off trading Zion at the deadline too for a haul at this point.

That is not really an option unless someone better or more consistent comes back in the trade.

Can you imagine if New Orleans traded Zion for prospects, then they end up helping Atlanta get a top 3 pick in the 2026 draft.

Bringing in Joe Dumars might have been the final nail in the New Orleans franchise coffin.

Kings starting lineup the other day

G: D Schroder
G: R Westbrook
G: Z LaVine
F: D DeRozan
C: D Sabonis

Two PGs. A lightweight SG at SF. A SG/SF at PF. And a dodgy defensive center trying to hold it all together. No defense. No rebounding. No physicality.

No wonder the Bulls picked up their 4th straight win to start the season.
