Looks like the consensus is that the Pats had a great draft:

League wide, it does crack me up that some evaluators can give a draft class an "F", while others give in an A.

Draft grades have to be amongst the dumbest things in sports media.

Pats got an (A-) last year as a post draft grade by many. Outside of Maye (who is still a question mark, IMO) that draft was a complete disaster.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Pickens and 2027 6th round pick to the Cowboys for a 2026 3rd and 2027 5th rounder.

I just don't get it. Pickens is a young, great receiver that is staring down his first big contract. He has some maturity concerns and mild durability issues. It just seems like thats worth 2-3rd round value that is going to be looking for a long term #1 option for a burgeoning QB.

This is probably why the Steelers are moving on. He was their best WR and they let him go. Says a lot.

They probably felt fine with it because of Pickens' baggage and after getting Metcalf in the offseason. And PIT does a good job developing WRs.

But also, Rodgers is going to PIT right? What's up with that. Or is their starting QB Rudolph?

And we are off!

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- The New England Patriots Stefon Diggs was not present for Wednesday's voluntary organized team activity, one day after a video of the wide receiver surfaced on social media in which he was on a boat and flashed an unidentified pink substance while surrounded by three women.

Patriots coach Mike Vrabel, who addressed reporters before practice, was asked if the video is something the team needs to look into.

"It's something we're aware of and obviously we want to make great decisions on and off the field," Vrabel said. "... Any conversations that I've had with Stefon will remain between him and I and the club."

The four-time Pro Bowler (Diggs) looked impressive during Monday?s organized team activites (OTA) session in Foxborough, according to NBC Sports Boston?s Tom E. Curran.

I thought it was astounding, Curran said during an appearance on Arbella Early Edition. This is a guy we didn?t think would be available for the beginning of the season, and to see him after not taking part in either of the first two OTAs in a full measure, none at all last week obviously, but to see him taking rep after rep after rep after rep in 11 on 11.

Players do not wear pads during OTA practices. The drills and scrimmages are non-contact, so it remains to be seen how Diggs looks when full contact is in play.

But, as Diggs continues to recover from a torn ACL that he suffered in October, seeing him run, cut, and show a high level of endurance this early on in the process is an encouraging sign for the Patriots, Curran said.

They were on the field for 8, 9, 10 plays and he wasn?t tapping out, and he was catching the ball the way an accomplished NFL receiver would, Curran said To me it?s astounding because I?m thinking to myself, is he going to be ready for the beginning of the year? Is he going to be up to speed at that point?? I would be surprised if he wasn?t available at some juncture during training camp.

Steelers are my least favorite NFL team so I don't know whether to rejoice or worry about this signing.  Is Rodgers done or is there something in the tank?  What a nightmare it would be to have Rodgers of all people lead the Steelers to the Super Bowl.

As a Steelers-hating Patriots fan living in Pittsburgh I am not expecting much from Rodgers. My Steelers fan friends' expectations may be lower than mine.

Good to hear!! Rodgers wasn?t anything with the Jets.  But he still scares me a little. Steelers aren?t quite the Lakers, but pretty close.  Knowing a few Steelers fans, you must be annoyed with frequency in Pittsburgh.
