TPs for a helluva good game.

How about Peterson?  Solid D with 7 rebounds and a couple of 3s.

In the last couple of games, he's made a decent case to play over Walsh.  Not an every-night guy, but not imprisoned in Maine, either.

No one on the broadcast knows why Bird came off the bench for 5 games that's sad. He was coming back from injury and the Celtics were on a win streak so he came of the bench until the streak was over.

For someone who didn't get playing time I thought he looked very good.  He moves his feet defensively better than expected and he has mostly been in the right spot.  He rushed some of his 3's, but I can see him knocking down set shots.

You can tell the game is a little fast for him at times.  But there's potential.  Maybe not a high ceiling player, but his floor could be a useful NBA player.

PBS is really good at finding talent.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Definitely.  And our coaching staff is doing a great job of developing it.  Hauser for example was a terrific find.

I suspect that little run that Bam went on towards the end of the game was him trying to save face in the matchup with Kornet.

I do not see how the Heat win games with this roster. It is awful. Full of guys that can't defend and not a lot of scoring. Scored 89 points when the Cs played g league and back ups heavy minutes.

Heat fans given up already this year .

They wish they had PP on their team. Instead of the bunch of lazy bricklayers that make up their pathetic squad of G leaguers

Heat culture was always fraudulent. They were good because of Butler. And he?s no longer the player he was. It?s over for them.

I'll be honest, looking back at it I also think the C's sort of just choked against them when it counted. In 2020, we were spooked by their zone defense and didn't seem to have answers, and in both years it just felt like most of their shooters went off against us (Herro + Robinson in 2020, Caleb Martin + Vincent in 2023, etc.). But then both years when they reached the Finals they honestly got taken out pretty easily by the Lakers and Nuggets.

I'm still mad about both series. Butler is also a playoff performer and no question he brings toughness to that team, but now he's also aging and with some knee issues. Herro and the others have also shown little improvement, in fact some have regressed.

Their biggest issue though is they just can't land that 3rd star to go alongside Butler + Bam, probably because no one outside of Miami really wants Herro lol and he's technically their best asset. And Jovic, Jacquez, Highsmith, etc. probably aren't enough unless they are all packaged together which I don't think Riley wants to do either.
