With Hauser not 100% I don't understand not giving minutes to Drew Peterson. He's 6'9" and can play like a guard. He gives us another shooter, passer, and ball handler on the floor.

He shows promise.

I would like to see him get more of an opportunity.

Peterson looks like a shooter, and in very limited NBA experience he has performed very well.

But, looking at his G-league stats, he hasn't exactly been lights out.  He's only shooting 30.9% 3PT% with Maine over the past two seasons.  Concerning, or small sample size?

I don't see the passing, ball-handling or defense, but until Scheierman gets a feel for the NBA, he's the best backup floor stretcher we've got.

I don't think he's supposed to be Magic Johnson out there, but they've had him as the main ball-handler at times in garbage time and he he's actually made some really solid passes - like that one to Queta at the end of last game. For his height, this is pretty encouraging stuff. And I know he's not particularly strong, but I do like how well he moves his feet. He also doesn't seem to back down from contact, which is good.

As far as shooting goes, it is sort-of perplexing that he hasn't been better in Maine. He looks great whenever he gets a set shot in NBA game action. I guess it's possible that due to different playstyles, a player like Peterson could perform better in the NBA as an off-ball guy than in the G-League.

Definitely don't expect a lot of him moving forward, but I generally like what he's had to offer as a deep bench back-up. Surprising because I didn't think he really offered anything coming into the season.

Noticed his impressive moments in Maine .  Needs to wrap it all up in a consistent package

Consistency is the hardest thing to be in the NBA especially when a whole defense is designed to stop you.
