If you could become a majority owner of any NBA franchise (other then the Celtics), which team would it be and why?
Portland Trail Blazers.
Very nice crowd and it's a franchise that has the hunger for success. With Porter, Drexler, Roy, Aldridge, McCollum and Lillard they never made the final step. Some unfinished business.
Their current team is pretty much a blank sheet, but also no really bad longterm contracts. Kind of like that, instead of a begin situation where you just ride a team that's already a contender or a team with a subpar All Star of whom you know isn't gonna take you to the promised land.
Winning a Championship there would be huge. It would take a lot of patience. Lots of time to make very very very long walks in the woods down there.
