Through the years, Portland has always managed to bring entertaining product to the hardwood,… Walton, Sabonis, Drexler, Sheed, Zach, Aldridge, Lillard…

When you started naming names, I thought you were going to go a different direction:  Walton, Bowie, Oden, Roy.  Is there a worse team than Portland to handle Rob's knees?

I love Rob, easy guy to root for.  My favorite Rob memory though will always be when the Celtics were talking about their favorite holiday movies.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

That's great.  Halloween is, in fact, a holiday.

I will definitely miss Rob and Smart.  It would not hard not to.  They loved being Celtics.  But on the other hand Jrue and KP give the c's the better chance to win it all and as a fan that's what we want to see.  Our teams winning the championship and giving us bragging rights because we root for the best team in the world.

I have often wondered how the guys that get traded feel after a team they were part of for years wins a championship without them? I’m sure they are happy for their former teammates and friends, but there must be a hollow feeling knowing that it didn’t happen while you were there.

Yeah, I think it will hurt Smart if the C’s win this year without him.

I also wonder if “Timelord” becomes “just Rob?” That nickname is so tied to his Boston experience that he might want to leave it behind.

He'll always be TIMELORD to me!
