I don't think we need to move completely away, you can attack the basket and have the 3PT as a major part of your game.  What they need to identify better is the passing lanes.  If a double or triple team comes, they need to find the open player so they may take that open shot.  Right now, their mindset is to try and fight through the double/triple.  Pierce had a habit of doing this as well, but with KG and Ray, he stopped it.

they need to stress cutting/constant screens and ball movement. I'm not sure what happened to that team at the beginning of the year that was just passing the ball around constantly finding the open man.

By the playoffs they were back to pounding the ball into the ground and taking step back 3's. Kind of coincided with Damon leaving IMO. so hopefully putting better coaching around the celtics helps them..
