How is Embiid not a starter??

The Nets aren't even a Top-3 team in the East, KD + Kyrie have missed a decent amount of time (and KD will continue to) but they are both starters...  ::)

KD, Embiid, Giannis, and Tatum all deserved to start. Their numbers are there. Someone was always going to the odd man out.

Happy it's not Tatum this time around.

Calling it: Jaylen will be LeBron’s first pick among the reserves.

Jayson will also be the first player picked by LeBron whether he picks first or Giannis picks first, as part of a Lakers psy-ops campaign to screw us when his contract is up (same reason why LeBron will pick Jaylen very early).

Frankly, the top vote-getters getting to pick the players is dumb. Let’s go back to East Vs. West.

Proof that the media is less biased than the players, who are probably less biased than the fans. I had Haliburton as my second guard, but it was a toss-up with JB. Simply dumb that Cryie got in before both. I picked all the other starters in the East. In the West, I refused to vote for LeBron and threw it away on AD. Otherwise, same picks as those who got it.

Giannis, Jokic, and Lebron were the only 3 players to appear on at least half of the player ballots.  I thought that was interesting.  I know the East had 4 deserving candidates for the front court, which probably explains that, but no guards getting the love from at least half of the players is very surprising.

DeRozan being a guard is so ridiculous.  He hasn't played the guard position in years.

During a Friday appearance on 97.5 The Fanatic’s Anthony Gargano Show, team president Daryl Morey focused his ire on one particular sect of voters. “Joel Embiid, completely hosed once again,” Morey said. “This time, the perpetrators of the crime were the shameless media, who, most of them have recused themselves because they don’t want to vote on something that affects players’ paychecks. But the shameless Boston media is way overrepresented. They haven’t recused themselves, and they shoved Joel low enough so that he isn’t an All-Star starter. It’s crazy.”

It doesn't even make sense since it was the fans that had him at 4.  Media and players both had him 3
