I know it was only a game, but Matt looked really good for Lakers in preseason game the other night, hitting 6 of 9 3 pointers, scoring 20 points. Enough for Lebron to motion the team to "sign him."

I still prefer Hauser, I think his defense is better, and his shooting is more sustainable.  But not sure why Ryan still wasn't brought to camp, especially following his nice summer league performance for the Celtics.  You can never have enough shooting.

No regrets.  I liked him and wish him the best, but he won’t be missed.

I liked Ryan but there's no playing time here for him. He's a big guard and we are deep at that spot. We have a lot of guards on the roster. Hauser is a forward and that's where we need a backup.

Not too much given he would not take a 2 way from memory, but would have preferred him over Thomas in a vacuum

To me, I like Ryan better than all of the new dumpster dives.  At least he played well in Maine last year.  He can shoot and clearly loves basketball.

Regrets?  I guess it depends who we keep over him.

Huge Regret....he can shoot....Hauser will get hurt again and we'll be left with nobody...I bet we cut him before Gallo got hurt.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Felt there was room for him as a 2 / 3. Surprised he wasn't here in camp after a good summer showing and DL league. Wish him well.

I'm not sure.
We needed a 3&D wing
Houser satisfies the 3 part and is very similar to Ryan. Maybe a little bit bigger, a little younger, and maybe a little bit better at the D. They are both knock down 3 point shooters.

So now we need the D part. I thought Jackson had the inside track, but it seems he sees himself as the 3 guy. I never have understood Layman. I think Thomas has in advantage now. Mostly longevity with the franchise.

Until Rob comes back I would still be looking for a big. Beyond Al and Grant (60 mpg at most) there are 36 minutes to be divided amonst Griffin, Vonleh, Kornet, and Kabengele + ???, We need as much stuff as possible to throw on the wall, hopefully something sticks.
