If the Knicks are dead set on getting rid of Randle and his big contract would you be interested in a Randle for Horford swap? I'm not sure if either team would be interested in this but it's still the dog days so...

Nope.  Randle is too ball-dependent. Otherwise he sulks.

We'd improve with age here and he could also shoot the 3 as well

Yeah, he'd have to buy in but I thought maybe last year would make him more interested in winning.

Picking up some like Carmelo or Yuta Watanabe might provide similar results on way less money...

He d have to come down off his cloud and decide to be part of an elite core devoted to team first  attitude and one goal .

I have doubts

No due to Horford being a better 5 option. Do think Randle is a better player though.

I don't know how well he'd do as a 3rd or 4th offensive option, but he is signed long term, will be in his prime the length of his contract, and can score and rebound.  If it was just a pure 1 for 1 swap, I think you'd probably have to do it just based on age, but I would at least think about it as I think Al is a better fit with the current group.

Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson

I think he prefers hanging stats on terrible teams.  He’s won more than 37 games once in his career.  Even if he knew how to buy in, I don’t think he’d want to.

He has also played for almost entirely rebuilding teams so it is hard to get a gage on what he is
