Just thought I'd get that out there. What a pleasure to have him on this team. What another great performance by the old man.

Happy birthday big guy!

I was optimistic heading into the season that he had positive play left in his tank, but this is absurd. Echoing the statement above, it has been a pleasure to have him back on this team. More than any player in recent memory, I want them to rally and get Al a ring.

What a player.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
I'm honestly still mad at Al. He left us for big money from our rival and now we have him for the 'worst' two years of that contract. We also had to give up a decent 1st in order to get him back. I am a Theis fan, but I'd like to think that if Al were here for our Bubble run, then we might already have banner 18 hanging in the rafters (and the Lakers would still be at 16).

Of course all is forgiven if we win this season. A real Title is more real than a what-could-have-been one. I was just a huge fan of him when he was here before and took it kind-of personally when he ditched us, and then remained true to his commitment to PHI after it was clear that Kemba was coming here.

But anyway, this is a really spiteful way of saying Happy Birthday Al lol
