Stephen A. Smith picked the Celtics in 7. But he just changed his pick by yesterday's halftime to the Bucks as we have absolutely no answer for Giannis. Pretty quick lol!
You shouldn't regard the opinion of Stephen A. as anything more than the moronic ramblings of a clown.

He knows exactly what he's doing
He is excellent at what he does. But I like to think that over here our analysis cuts a little deeper than his

He's obviously articulate, which is one measure of intelligence. I wonder if he gets so wrapped up in his media personality that he ends up being a bit less intelligent even after work now.

Exactly - the guy changes his mind every 5 minutes.
Can he do any commentary without it turning into a screaming tirade ?

There was a time where SAS was a decent beat journalist, but it was over two decades ago now, and it's obviously not where the money is, either. He's got a gift for tirade and sports fans respond to that.

I've seen this series before.  The 1984 Finals, Lakers (Celtics) vs Celtics (Bucks).  The C's in 84 played the Lakers hard, remember, they came in as Showtime.  It was a physical series that the Lakers were not prepared for.

We're now in that boat and the C's better learn the physical game or this is over quick.

I don't mind that sort of entertainment every once in awhile, but I just don't find SAS credible at all.  I don't believe he believes his takes half the time, which makes it really hard to listen to him.

The champs are not going to give it to us—we need to take it. Not only take it, but beat them in Milwaukee again. While the odds favor the Bucks by virtue of the game 5 win, we can do this just like the Lakers did it to us in the 2010 NBA Finals when we were up 3-2. This is win or go home. This is adversity we need to overcome.

To be the champs, we need to beat the champs. This is for the NBA title. Let’s do it!

Lol win or go home in Milwaukee this Friday, but I don't feel confident about forcing Game 7 on the road.

Will have to miss that game anyways, need to visit pops in rehab during that timeframe.

I truly feel like this is the NBA Finals. Both these teams have looked tougher than anybody left in the playoffs. C's somehow come back to win this series they will fear zero teams left. They gotta beat these guys two more times though and just had their hearts ripped out in the process. The playoffs are brutal at times.

Thanks! He's doing well. Had a broken femur and left shoulder. It's been about a month now. Sometimes have to take time off work to drive to the rehab around the late afternoon, and living in the PST zone, I'd have to miss some Celtics games if they're playing those days.

I'll be checking the box scores. Shoot, just surprise me man. I hope C's surprise me and win on Friday.

It’s funny I don’t think Semi would make any difference in this series but if he was released early enough to join the playoff roster I would have loved to see him back. I would be in favor or signing him next season. He isn’t the 8th or 9th guy in a playoff rotation but as a 12th/13th guy he can at least be counted on to defend in case of injury or foul trouble.

He defended the hell out of Giannis before in a few games (I think both playoff and regular season)

But you're probably right, probably wishful thinking because those are probably some of the best games Semi will play in his career (and Giannis got better too). I don't think Semi was anything special as a team defender either, which is what's important here, and horrible on offense, which we sorely lacked
