Our defense overall has been fantastic this series. Even today with all that happened, they kept MIL to 103 points. Not like MIL put up 120+. Problem is, we also need to shoot well and we really haven't done that in two of the three games, hence the 2-1 deficit. Of course the refs were a huge factor today, but also Tatum can't go 4-19. G-Will and Pritchard also can't combine for 1-11, that just adds even more pressure on the starters to perform and Horford + Brown almost carried them late but they can't rely on that all the time.

The refs stole this one even with Giannis having an all-time great performance and Tatum shooting like Derrick White.

I only WISH Tatum had shot like Derrick White in this game.

If the offense doesn’t get right you may as well. Bucks are missing a guy that can drop 40 on you. The C’s are either passing up layups or missing them all together. They’ve played one great half of offense the entire playoffs so far, I find that disheartening.

I want to see how the respond, especially Tatum. The psychological part of sports is just as interesting to me as the game.

The most disappointing thing with Tatum in this game is that it was not only his shooting but truly every area of the game. His rebounding was way down and his defense was horrible and he got owned by Jrue on occasion and Giannis but that is somewhat expected. Even if he plays slightly better defense we probably win this game. Need that to change for the next game and I have hope that it will. I just am not sure Brown and Horford will play as well. And sadly don’t know if we can play the way we need for 3 out of 5. Ugh crushing to now be down for two straight days. Why do I care so much about sports!

Poor shooting combined with poorer decision making from your star usually ends badly. Combine that with hero ball smart and you need divine intervention to win.

I have a feeling this is gonna go the distance. This is too much of a marquee match up for the NBA to allow it to be a short series. I expect the Cs to get a good whistle come game 4. Our guys need to still come out and play well though.

It really comes down to taking personal responsibility. It's easy and convenient to blame the refs because they called the game terribly, but it's a 2 point game, where even small improvements in players' individual performances could have created a different outcome and we would be talking about how we beat the refs as well as the Bucks. I get fans getting frustrated, I really do. But I hope the players aren't using the refs as a scapegoat, because then what's the incentive to improve those numbers if they just think the refs will rob them again next game? It's an easy out. Why even try if the game's fixed?

Control the controllables, shoot better than 38%, get Tatum to show up offensively and try and maintain the same defensive intensity as they have the last 3 games. If the refs let Giannis get away with things, then that's just one of the things they will have to overcome. If they have to go in with a mentality that it's 8 on 5 then that's what they have to go in with.

On the positive side, Giannis played a blinder, Tatum a shocker, we shot 38% and the team lost by 2 playing 8v5. If that's me I'm feeling good going into Game 4.

Yeah, I stupidly said that Giannis could not have a better game than game one and Tatum could not have a worse game than game one and then that’s exactly what happens in game three. I really cannot see how Giannis could do better and Tatum worse than game three, but who knows?

you really didn't think Giannis wouldn't be better than taking more shots than he had points.  That is surprising to me as it seemed apparent to me that Giannis would shoot better.

THe Celtics would've won if the fix didn't go all the way to the end of the game. Smart was shooting. It's really hard to fight through all the calls and no calls. The refs really wanted this one. PLaying better wouln't of helped.

   Smart took 4 steps before his shooting motion which is arguable.
