Just 54. Apparently drowned in his hot tub at his home.

That's terrible news. Obviously he was best known for Friends, but I also really liked him in The Odd Couple. I also remember going to the movies with my grandmother when I was a kid to see Fools Rush In.

There has to be more to this than drowning in hot tub. No matter the reason, it's a shocking and unfortunate death.

Sad, met him once in 1997 on the set of Friends....

(same day....also got to be in a room with Jennifer Aniston for a couple minutes--she was sweet).

Saw a report that said he came home from playing a 2 hour game of pickleball. He asked his assistant to do some errands and when the assistant came back found him unresponsive in the hot tub.  Probably overheated and passed out before drowning.

Didn’t realize how much he struggled with substance abuse over the years. Very sad.
