An over-dependence on guys he knows and has worked with before. The easy option. The guy I know more about and trust vs riskier options where I do not know the player.
eh I think having Horford on his contract is unquestionably better than having Kemba, so I'm fine with it.
if I have any complaint about acquiring Horford it's that he is in some ways a band-aid over the deficiencies the team has, and due to age and contract he is necessarily a short term solution.
did hurt to give up a 1st, but that's the price for getting out of cap hell.
