Smart, Romeo Langford,  Grant Williams,  First for Sabonis.

Timelord covers up for Sabonis defensive weakness very well. Sabonis is a very good passer and Cutter on offense. Celtics should give Prichard a really good look with the starters to see if he's a viable option at point.  (Probably not)

The staring five looks much better and we just need a power move at PG to become a real threat.  Would anyone go to two Firsts if we had to?

Timelord
Sabonis
Tatum
Brown
Schroder/Prichard

Horford
Richardson
Nesmith
Freedom

Celtics currently the 13th best rebounding team in the NBA with this trade we most definitely jump into the top 5 with Sabonis Avg 12 rpg. Take a look at the top five rebounding teams.

#1 Memphis
#2 Utah
#3 Bucks
#4 Lakers
#5 warriors

Timelord 9rpg
Sabonis 12 rpg
Tatum  8.5 Rpg
Brown  6.6 rpg
Prichard/ Schroder  combined 6

With Horford,  Freedom,  and Richardson coming off the bench to grab more

So I just found another garbage trade proposal on this website,  funny enough the second trade proposal was exactly my idea.

Boston Celtics Receive: F/C Domantas Sabonis, F Oshae Brissett, G Kiefer Sykes, C Goga BitadzeIndiana Pacers Receive: F Grant Williams, F Juancho Hernangomez, F Romeo Langford, G Aaron Nesmith, G Payton Pritchard, 2022 First-Round Pick, 2023 First-Round Pick Swap, 2024 First-Round Pick

The Sabonis/Timelord paring doesn't have enough shooting to be a functioning NBA offensive frontcourt.

Disagree. Plus for now we still have Horford to space the court when needed.

Sabonis and Smart are about the same level shooters. Plus Tatum can play PF with either center, our problem is horrible depth.

Sabonis seems to be the real underrated all star, not Jaylen Brown

Mannix stated in game broadcast that Sabonis isn’t being moved for unless the Pacers receive an Allstar caliber player in return. Meaning it would take Brown to get Sabonis.

I’m not sold on Sabonis as a playoff winning player. How much better is he then Freedom? When given the minute Enes was able to put up a very similar stat line. (Check their per 36). Sabonis is a much better passer but at his salary and asset cost I’m not sold that he is worth it.

That is no where near enough for Indiana to trade Sabonis.  He is a similar level of value to Brown and I wouldn't trade Brown for him with the team as currently constructed.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

Agree with this ^^

However, trading Brown for Sabonis means that huge changes are coming to the C’s. If it doesn’t though then Sabonis skill set is a poor fit for this iso-heavy team with a lack of emphasis on off ball movement
