I’ve read in multiple laces that JH makes $6.1M, not $7.1M. Which is it?

Either way, it's too much!

I'd really like to add a bench 7 footer to the roster in place of Parker.
Isn't Enes already that guy? Is two more inches going to mean that much given Enes is an elite rebounder and garbage man offensively?
Enes should be a rotation player on this roster.

"Big-dude-at-end-of-the-bench-waving-a-towel" is a classic role on the old Celtics.  Anyone remember Bruno Sundov?  More recently, Vitor Faverani and even Tacko Fall.  We need a guy like that!

Greg Kite, best ever in that role.

He'd be perfect. Maybe too old... ::)

Jabari’s case is really hard to understand. Remember he was waived  right before the season started. The team could have easily moved on from him at that point. However, after clearing waivers, Boston brought him back and signed him to a new contract. I think Ime likes having him there as an insurance, not as a regular rotation guy. He’s had some nice games for the Cs this year but hasn’t really cracked the regular rotation. That said, they’ll probably just keep him and use him as trade filler if and when the need arises.

I know he's been a hot topic around here for years but Cousins was waived by the Bucks.  He'd be an upgrade over Parker.

How did he look? I think I only saw one game with him there.

He'll always be a defensive liability, but he had 15 points and 10 boards in 20 minutes for the Bucks last night.  A decent last hurrah.  Given minutes he will still get numbers.
Yup

Parker can score which we need off the bench..better than what we got on the bench
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

Jabari Parker will reportedly be waived.

The Boston Celtics are planning to waive forward Jabari Parker, sources tell @TheAthletic@Stadium. Celtics maintain roster flexibility with an open roster spot ahead of roster guarantee date. Parker showed scoring ability over the past season in Boston.

[dang] it. Now I’m going to have to throw away my Jabari Parker Jersey. Knew that was a bad investment.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

This should come as a surprise to nobody. Jabari seems like a good guy and he is an impressive scorer, but he isn't so vital that he should limit our ability to get under the tax should we choose to do so...and at this point, it seems like a direction we should definitely be looking.

I'll be really interested to see what kind-of offers are out there for Schroder.

I'm sure there will be another Parker down the road and then you'll be ready.
