This is very anecdotal and based off my memory, so it is possible I don't have this right. However, it seems like the amount of players missing games is getting really high right now for the NBA. Lebron obviously just missed a game or two, which was high profile, but it seems like there are more and more players going into the protocol. The 76ers were hit really hard by it (and will add Embid commented he was not sure if he was going to get really really sick and felt awful). Now the hornets are hit very hard with Rozier, Ball and 3 others out. The bulls currently have 3 out, and had a long absence from vucuvic previously. Nuggets also seem to have numerous players out (though not necessarily stars). Was it this bad last season? I know we were really hit hard throughout the season, but this seems like a more teams with 3-4 guys missing at a given time than I recall. Is this accurate or just recency bias on my part? (also lets please just discuss this in terms of impact on basketball and players being able to play, I realize there is a 500 page thread on covid, vaccines, masks, policy etc.
