Just marked a career high with 12 assists in the win over the pistons recently.  We look like a different team when he's passing the ball like a point guard.

The entire defense is expecting him to score, the opportunities for him to get easy buckets of penetration are endless.

Passing at an elite level coupled with his natural ability to score could bring Jayson the MVP,  and more importantly the Celtics a title.

Had The jazz on the ropes in their house late due to Tatums sweet Passing.  Is like to see him get over 5apg next year. If he can get to 6apg range. We will transform into a real contender.

Tell Tatum the key to personal and team success lays in his willingness to create for his teammates.

Tatum plays better without Brown in general because they occupy the same space on the floor with similar skill sets.  That is why I believe the team wins at a similar level without Brown and why I'd trade Brown for a player that would compliment Tatum more.  Tatum is Boston's best and most valuable player and I just don't think Brown is the right running mate for him.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Please give examples of the type of player that will compliment Tatum better than Brown. Another star, or a couple of complimentary players. What trades would you want for Brown? And do you think a.coach can mold Tatum and Brown to compliment each other more efficiently?

It’s getting difficult to dispute this. I really like Brown on and off the court. But if the Cs could get a blue chip PG for him, they really need to consider it.

SGA. Or — any other legit PG.

Brown>SGA. Also, SGA is not a legit PG, he’s a combo guard who is averaging only 4.5ast, while shooting 30% from 3pt and 41% from the field. Pass.

The only player I would consider trading Jaylen for is KAT.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Lamelo ball for Brown.  I'd do that in a new York minute.

Ball for Brown is certainly one the Celts would have to think about.

That said I don’t see it happening and I don’t think we know what the coaching staff can do to blend these talents. I hope Broen will be back in form by mid season, so we can get a solid run before the playoffs start. My bet is they will learn how to blend the talents. And I would not move him for less than all-star talent with all-NBA potential. Because that’s what he is.

Yeah… you try playing on a team with basically one NBA player, see how your percentages fair.

Yeah I wouldn't either. The OP saying he would only trade Brown for KAT is nuts. I suppose he means players rumored to be on the market.

I'd trade Brown for.  Kawhi,  Curry,  Giannis,  Scottie Barnes, Bam,  Trey Young, Morant, Booker, Jokic, Paul George,   Durant,  Beal, Anthony Edward's
