I am definitely for this. Jackie mac had a nice article a few years ago on how much value Mike Miller provided young players on the nuggets. I also don’t get this can’t waste a single roster spot mentality. We have literally had a guy on the team for every year the last 20 years were we would be screwed if they had to play major minutes. I mean how are we doing with tacko fall if he has to play 20 minutes.

Also, basically all of Lebrons title or finals teams had at least one of his lackeys at the end of the bench. Doesn’t stop winning.

Dallas, but yes.  And Lebron was p---ed.  The article goes into detail, but apparently LeBron, Davis, and Westbrook all lobbied management to no avail.

I can’t imagine that the 15th person on their roster is going to contribute more than somebody who can help keep the superstars happy and focused.
